Petit Confection + Mamaista!

Talk about a chic shindig--welcome to Petit Confection's launch party at the famous Sweetie Pie restaurant in the west village! Savvy moms and adorable tykes alike frolicked and played in stunning french-inspired clothing on Tuesday, where everyone was dining on delightful bites and enjoying the company of NYC moms-in-the-know like Elina of Mamaista, the chic little daily for moms, and countless other smiling faces. I could deal with an assignment like this EVERY DAY! (pass another meringue, please!) The rest of the party pics can be seen here, and video to come soon from Gugamovies.

Root Toot!

Here's a lil' something I just came across that brought a smile to my face. It's what I wrote back when RFTV was born, and it's the mantra I still hear in my head today. I know that my vision can become a reality, I can see it, when I remember these few words...

Every time you reach into your pocket or blink open your eyes in the morning, Root for Tiny Victories. Savor the commonplace. Blinks. Exclamations. Little poofs of space and time that can be wrapped up in your memory like little twinkling nuggets, little stars that don’t ever fade out. Glances, fragrances, little nothingness moments with someone wonderful you encounter, with someone you love, or even with someone you don't, each little lesson put into your path, it’s all worth rooting for. That’s how I feel! Who’s with me?

Lauren and Devin: The Secret Garden…

As if I wasn't excited enough about seeing these girls again (I used to babysit them when they were infants!) I got an EXTRA BIG THRILL after arriving at the girls' gorgeous Scotts Valley home and seeing their positively magnificent backyard! It was a true secret garden, of the most magical kind. The hazyness of the day just made the surroundings that much more twinkly! I couldn't help but throw in a BUNCH of garden details, to help you grasp the EXPERIENCE of this day...sweet things all around!

Baby Rain, Part 2: ALL SMILES and on the move!

As you might be able to tell, I was SO inspired by this little tot, I truly was. Can you believe how many gleeful, soulful smiles I got? Wheeee!! Rain was itching to get movin', kickin his feet and dreaming of crawling... and he would do the CUTEST little revving-up move when he was getting ready to roll over: He would lie on his back, carefully clasp his hands and concentrate really hard... and then with a determined little twitch--FOOMP! From back to tummy! SUCCESS! Go Rain Go!

Baby Rain, Part 1!

Holy Hotdogs, have you ever seen eyelashes like the ones on baby Rain? MY GOODNESS! This was a delightful spring day in Rockefeller Park, with a tiny, gorgeous, observant, exuberant little 6-month-old peanut with an infectious smile, and his gorgeous mom and dad. No complaints from the photographer! I can't WAIT to post Part 2...<3

BEHIND THE SCENES: What will my shoot with ANAPHOTO be like?

Here's a firsthand look at what a shoot with Ana from ANAPHOTO is like! Special thanks to the INSANELY talented Maya of GUGAMOVIES, who produced this killer video. This lil' film showcases a fun early spring day in Central Park, and I was frolicking all day with two tiny tots and one set of adorable brothers. Imagine what fun I can dream up for YOUR FAMILY! Click "play", and join me in Rooting for this day of Tiny Victories...

Logan J.'s FIRST-EVER trip to Manhattan!

What a momentous occasion, and I was there to experience it--Logan's first-ever trip to Manhattan! This is the gorgeous little tyke of my good friend and client, and he is quite the heart-breaker. Lovingly nick-named "my little fatso", little L actually drew a crowd as we knelt in the grass and on the hill taking his photos. This is just a sneak peek--more to come! <3

Early Spring in Central Park

I think I may have located (and then hugged) the only tree that has yet dared to bloom in Central Park, (it is quite early still) so here it is in all its glory! There is just one teensy building peeking its way through, and I was so smitten with it that I based an entire photo shoot around this solitary sparkling gem of a tree. Little Max didn't seem to mind, and the warm light on a cool day ended up making for some delightful light... that plus a delightful child... makes a delightful result!

Behind the Scenes: PowerwomenTV

And then, one day, the sky opens up, fresh air swooshes in and nothing but opportunity lies ahead. One lucky day, the universe aligns itself in such a way that a gem of an experience just DROPS into your lap, and you are never the same again. Last Sunday, at my PowerwomenTV shoot, the one and only Amy Palmer and her Powerwomen set into motion an AWAKENING in me, creating an epiphany out of which I can see my goals so clearly--I see that, starting RIGHT NOW, I am truly embarking on a new and incredible phase of my career! I met eleven fierce, gorgeous, clever and successful women, each who had a vision and a dream, each who then hit the pavement with their own two Louboutins to make it happen.

I am honored. Inspired. And most of all--EXCITED for the road ahead of me, and GRATEFUL for the confidence I'll have on my journey now that I have these incredibly accomplished women as examples. Thank you to each and every one of the women who attended this shoot, I am PROUD to be a Powerwoman!
